Once again, I assembled and pinned it, but took another look and worried some more. So I took it all apart. And replaced more blocks.
You can see where some of the quilting lines are drawn in.
Why all the work? Some of you may remember a Springmaid brand black that literally disintegrated in the wash. I owned some, but was not sure which was used where in the quilt. So I removed any questionable black. Finally, I think it's ready to be finished. Let's hope those marking lines come out.
On a side note, thanks to all of you who left messages regarding my dearest pal. As always, your kind thoughts and words were most appreciated.
Until then, keep stitchin' . . .





And simply cut a few more 2" x 6" light rectangles to assemble the remaining vertical rows.
Without paying attention to "THE RULE" . . . . block "B" MUST match block "A" . . . in this case in height . . . . which is 6-1/8th.
