No actually, I was not abducted by aliens . . .

However, if they had arrived with a cure for detrimental cough and congestion, I gladly would have changed planets.

Thank you, by the way, for stopping by to check up on me. I'm finally starting to feel the results of lots of juice, rest, and meds.

I did some restful sewing too.

This was being quilted right before I moved 2 years ago.

I finished working on the borders and now it's ready for binding.

Dolly is patiently waiting for her mom to get better so we can get back to walking in the park. She really is a very good pup.

Until then, keep stitchin' . . .

Lots of quiet time,

going on here lately . . .

Mom has a bad case of bronchitis and will return soon.

Until then, keep stitchin' . . .

Definitely quilted . . .

. . . though not yet bound.

This basic 16-patch using 2-1/2 inch squares will be going out to someone very near and dear to my heart.

Can you see the red and black 4-patch? I added trimmed down half square triangles and 4-patches to keep things interesting and also to use them up. Also included in the blocks was a piece of fabric from 1985 . . . amazing.

With a high of 55 degrees today and 58 predicted for tomorrow, Dolly is sniffing out signs of Spring.

Until then, keep stitchin' . . .
