Just a bit of binding and it's done!

How can 5 years pass so quickly?
This Amish Boston Commons has been waiting a long time to be completed.

I love the contrast that hand-dyed fabrics add to the mix.

This quilt goes well with Fall I'm thinkin'.

Dolly is simply very glad for cooler weather and prances around in the brisk morning air like a frisky colt.  She doesn't prance often, but it's a sight to see, LOL.

When I open my Etsy shop, this will be one of the first things listed.  Stay tuned.

Fall is the prettiest time of the year in North Carolina!

Folks travel from all over to visit the John C. Campbell Folk School.
This person must be a teacher. . . . .

 . . . either that or it's a code word I'm not familiar with.

This building serves many functions.  The top consists of dorm rooms, the second level is for music classes, but if you're taking a cooking class, you would be working in the lowest level on the right hand side.  The wood fired oven is located nearby, to the right.  I need to plan my visits for when the pizza is ready to be taste tested.  Ummmm.

And after eating all of those delicious tidbits, there are plenty of trails to walk them off.

Oklahoma may have wide open spaces, but North Carolina has the prettiest mountains.

Will some kind-hearted, cat-loving person adopt Cleo?

This sweet baby girl showed up at a dear friend's house.
Sadly my dear friend has allergies and cannot keep her.

Cleo has a lovely disposition, but is still a bit shy around strangers.

She will need a vet visit with all the usual shots, etc.

Please e-mail me if you're interested in giving this furry friend a new home.

Fall vistas at the Folk School.

It's a sad day in Bunzberg

Three bunny babies left us for Heaven today.

It's hard losing one, but three in one day is cataclysmic.

Since I'm new to the business of raising bunnies, of course I did not recognize the signs of mucoid enteritis or even know that there was anything I could do to prevent it.  The third one died in my arms while I attempted to administer Pedialyte.

It's a very sad day.  I'll be back in awhile.
