reporting that substation K-9er 9er whiskey delta beta-2 glycoprotein has been fully assembled and is ready for testing.
This is not a rocket launch, no need for goggles and headphones.
Simply a new command station to initiate completion of quilt projects. Long awaited I might add.
First test project is the brown and red churn dash
complete with Huckleberry Finn backing.
You can tell how excited the Dollster is that I'm moving furniture around again. She goes and hides on the porch.
Here's wishing you all a piece-full weekend.
Until then, keep stitchin' . . .

Have you checked your stockings lately?
You know how it is, they get rolled up, crushed together, put in a box, packed away, and otherwise neglected for 11 months out of the year.
So I decided it was time for a wash and a rinse.
Then hung to dry by the fire.
Next they'll need a bit of darning. Moths came to visit and overstayed their welcome.
The 2 that are wool were made by my Aunt Dana many years ago. She attached a label, but no date. The other 2 are acrylic and I've no idea who made those, as there is no label inside.
Just another reminder for all quilters to always add a label so we're not forgotten 11 months out of the year . . . or otherwise.
Until then, keep stitchin' . . .

Inspired by Pinterest
I really love 2" squares.
In the last 30 years, I've cut and sewn quite a few.
So when I saw this pattern idea over at Marci Patch's Pinterest site in August 2013,
there was no question as to what size square to start with.
Wouldn't you agree?
To make it easier to find, I've moved the pattern idea to my Pinterest site under Quilts - Scrappy.

So, how are you all faring up there in the great Northeast?
This is all that's left of storm Jonas.
Accumulation was perhaps a little over an inch on Saturday with cold and plenty of wind. Thank goodness we never lost power.
It was a good weekend for sewing. Here's another baby quilt ready for hand stitching.
Dolly and I are sending warm thoughts to all of those affected by the snow and flooding along the coast.
