10 more out the door

As many of you remember, last summer I worked diligently on piecing odds and ends into QOV tops. Just random bits and pieces that needed a new purpose and a new home.

Now these tops are winging their way to Mary who has, as always, done such an outstanding job on the previous ones sent.

A heart felt thank you goes out to Mary for her dedication to such a worthy cause, as well as the volunteers assisting in various aspects of this project.

It's March already

Ohhhh yes, I'm still here. I've been pretty busy though and there's very little sewing going on right now.

For those who love applique, do stop by and visit Dorothy our neighbor in Canada. She has some exceptionally lovely patterns.

The quilt pictured (compliments of the Quilt Study Center) literally represents how I feel 'bout now, and I believe a blogging break is in order. I know you'll understand.

Just a note . . .

and a thank you to all who have stopped by. Dad passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon. Continued prayers appreciated as I have to attend the viewing tonight and funeral tomorrow and clean out the house with siblings. No doubt recovery of each will require much fabric therapy.
