Thoughtful Thursday.

I'm working with my new camera.  Trying to move on to other buttons.

This week I'm studying AF-A, AF-S, and AF-C.

Believe me, it's a whole other kinda alphabet.

Until then, keep stitchin' . . .

Wordless Wednesday

A sad farewell.

Samson bunny, age 1-1/2 years, died last night of unknown causes.  We'll miss his adventuresome spirit.

Dolly wanted to remind everyone to fill water bowls daily, provide a shady spot to rest in, and pour out ice cube treats on days with higher temps.

Until then, keep stitchin' . . .

Thank you for your kind inquiries . . .

I am feeling a tad better.  Not quite ready for the up-hill-all-the-way 26 mile marathon, but can climb the stairs without stopping 2 times on the way up.

 Things are looking brighter.

The town crier is pleased to announce these beautiful babies, Peter and Polly, went to a new home this week to be adored pets for the grandchildren.

You've not met Bullet before have you?  He was born under the dog house in a burrow with 5 others.  But I've never been able to catch him.  Interestingly, he's outgrown his siblings.

I wonder if he'll catch up to Jeremiah who is the biggest bunny of them all.

These are 2 of Hazel's litter.  Bullet's siblings.

On Monday, Riley, Rebecca's last baby, will be heading off to North Asheville to live with a new family.

This is good news, believe me, for I am out of room.

My Stargazer lily is a paler pink than last year . . . I wonder if it has to do with the cold winter?

Until then, keep stitchin' . . .

Yes, I realize it's summer . . . .

But the mean ol' flu bug has found me anyway.

It's no fun I tell ya trying to sit quietly and not cough.  It's also as boring as watching wet newspaper dry in the sun.  Only more so.

Book reading is out of the question, my eyelids flutter and close due to the medication.  (whine, whine)

Quilt binding cannot happen, as it's too hot.  (Grumble, grumble.)

Having no recourse, I unearthed my counted cross stitch.  Old projects are being worked on, slowly, very slowly.  This time with glasses.

Yes, it's been that long since I've done any x-stitching.  Will show photos soon.  It's time for some soup and more rest.  (I'm not good at resting . . . whine, grumble, whine, grumble, grumble.)  But this too shall pass.

Until then, keep stitchin' . . .
